Joniskis – is the city in northern Lithuania, Siauliai district (39 km to north of Siauliai), near the Latvian border (14 km), in Zemgale lowland. It is district and parish center. It is urban monument.In the town stands St. Blessed Virgin Mary of the Assumption Church (built in 1901), the synagogue complex (cultural monument). Currently, in Joniskis edge there are about 240 of cultural heritage - architecture, urbanism, sacred, nature and others wich you can enjoy traveling to the northern plains region. Population is 10685 (2010).
