A space for ethnoculture, customs and traditions, activities and merry-making is surrounded by modern city. There was recreated miller’s farmhouse and restored the only survived in Šiauliai construction of Lithuanian traditional wooden architecture from the 2nd part of the 19th c. – Žaliūkių Windmill. All-year-round the everyday life of Miller’s family – grain grinding, bread baking – is going on; sometimes it is spiced by Lithuanian traditional calendar celebrations.

Žaliūkių Windmill was constructed around 1875–1880 by a person of German descent – Johann Wilhelm Daniel. During the period of 2008–2011, the Windmill was restored and Miller’s Farmstead – rebuilt. Today major Lithuanian calendar celebrations – Shrovetide Tuesday, Easter, Assumption – are celebrated in the Farmstead.
