Kursenai – is the city is the lowland of Zemaitija, Siauliai district, 25 km to west of Siauliai. It is the largest city of Lithuania, which is the municipal center. In the town stands St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (since 1933), a park, museum of calendars. Kursenai from a long tradition is craft for pottery, and there is Brone and Bronius Radeckai Ceramics Museum. There is a clay deposit. Population is 13 372 (2010), area 11.920.
