Welcome to Žiogeliai, a romantic village of Dzukija (South East Lithuania), resting in the valley of the river Nemunas and surrounded by picturesque pinewoods of Dainava region.
Žiogeliai village was a rafters’ village. It is also an ethnographic reserve, where the tourists may get acquainted with former life of Dzukija people.
You may enjoy here real peace of countryside, squawking of storks, dewy grass in early morning, baskets full of boletuses, red bilberries and cranberries, the river Nemunas and surrounding lakes rich in fish.
